@FKaren_teachVA I saw on Tik Tok a teacher flip painters tap, and then lay your letters (backwards) on the painters tap using the edge of a table. Once you do that, put tape on the back of the letters, tape to wall, and then remove the painters tape from the front of the letters.

A man once spent every morning cleaning the floor of a school gym. He’d sweep it. Mop it. Clean the corners. Make sure it was ready for the day.

And every day, the same thing happened. Students walked across it. Basketball practice happened on it. Shoes left marks. Dirt found its way back in.

By the end of the day, the floor he had worked so hard to clean was dirty again.

Someone once asked him, “Doesn’t it get frustrating knowing you’ll just have to do it all over again tomorrow?”

He smiled and said, “That doesn’t mean it doesn’t need to be done today.”

I love that.

Some of the most important work you’ll ever do is work that never stays finished.

Parenting is like that. So is marriage, leadership, teaching, coaching, and serving. The things that matter most aren’t built in a moment. They’re built by showing up again and again. You show up. You give your best. And tomorrow, you get up and do it again.

Don’t mistake repetition for insignificance.

Just because you’ll have to do it again tomorrow doesn’t mean it doesn’t matter today.
