No Mahatma ever had an easy life, especially when it came to family. Almost all of them went through conflicts, struggles, misunderstandings, and hardships within their own families - yet they remained detached, untouched, and unwavering within.

What is even more fascinating is that, in many cases, their own families failed to recognise their greatness even while the Mahatma was alive, sometimes until the very time of their Samadhi.

And yet, the family may find itself spending money outside to have rituals performed in the very same home, while the Mahatma quietly plays their role as though they are nobody.

There is something deeply mesmerising about learning these stories and witnessing this paradox.

How little we truly understand.
How foolish we all are in trying to recognise greatness only through the eyes of the world. 🙏

మైసూరు చాముండేశ్వరి జయంతి :
దుర్గాదేవి సైన్యంలోని 64 యోగినీ దేవతలలో ఒక ముఖ్యమైన యోగిని చాముండి. చాముండను కాళికాదేవి అవతారానికి సమానమైన అవతారంగా కొన్ని పురాణాలు వర్ణించాయి. సప్తమాతృకలలో ఒక మాతగా పురాణాలు వర్ణించాయి. ఆమె ఆదిమవాసుల దేవతగా ప్రాచీనకాలంలో పూజలందుకుంది. కన్నడ భక్తజనులు “నాద దేవత”గా పిలుస్తారు. చాముండాదేవి జయంతి ఉత్సవాలు, మైసూరు చాముండాదేవి ఆలయంలో పరమవైభవోపేతంగా జరుగుతాయి. సముద్రమట్టానికి 3300 అడుగుల ఎత్తున ఉన్న ఎనిమిది కొండల మధ్యన ఉన్న త్రిమాత క్షేత్రం మైసూరు చాముండేశ్వరి క్షేత్రం. ఈ ప్రాంతాన్ని మహాబలాద్రి అనికూడా పిలుస్తారు. 12వ శతాబ్ది పాలకులైన హోయసల రాజులు నిర్మించిన నాటి మైసూరు చాముండాదేవి ఆలయాన్ని 1399లో పరిపాలనలోకి వచ్చిన మైసూరు ఒడయార్ రాజులు పునరుద్ధరించి, తమ ఇష్టదేవతగా ఆరాధించారు. 1867లో మూడో కృష్ణరాజ ఒడయార్ ఈ ఆలయాన్ని మరింత అభివృద్ధి చేశారు. నాటి నుంచి దసరా ఉత్సవాలలో, చాముండ జయంతి ఉత్సవాలలో అమ్మవారిని స్వర్ణ పల్లకిలో ఊరేగించే పల్లకి ఉత్సవం ఒక ప్రధాన ఆకర్షణగా దేశప్రజలను ఆకర్షిస్తోంది. లోక కంటకుడిగా తయారైన మహిషాసురుడ్ని చాముండాదేవి ఈ కొండపైనే సంహరించింది. అందుకు ప్రతీగా ఇప్పటికీ చాముండాదేవి దేవస్థాన మార్గంలో మహిషాసురుని విగ్రహం కూడా ఉంటుంది. కాగా హిమాచల్ ప్రదేశ్ లోని కంగ్రాలోనూ ఒక చాముండేశ్వరి ఆలయం ఉంది. ఒడిశాలోని కీచకేశ్వరి ఆలయం, భువనేశ్వర్ లోని చాముండేశ్వర ఆలయం ప్రసిద్ధి పొందినవి. తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రం, సంగారెడ్డిజిల్లా జోగిపేటకు 5 కి.మీ.ల దూరంలో చిట్కుల్ అనే గ్రామంలో ఒక ఆలయంలో చాముండేశ్వరిగా కొలుపులందుకుంటోంది.
