Ironic how we demand total perfection from the new and inexperienced who ask for legitimate accountability, and nothing from the old and experienced who are legitimately accountable.
Delhi police @DelhiPolice batao ye kaun hai? Bina women police ke ye Neha ki kamar pakadkar use kaise ghaseette hue le jaa raha tha? Kya iske khilaaf kanooni karwahi hogi? KAUN HAI YE THULLA??
@tweetmilne Moved into a flat in Birmingham to find it unclean, a dirty sofa, broken extractor and misinformation on washer/dryer.Instead of resolving anything, the property manager blamed the landlord, contractor, and even me closing the ticket without fixing a thing. Do better
@asliarpita Unfortunately your PhD didn’t develop the critical thinking skills that is essential to the part of the process.
Calling yourself “Andhbhakt” just proves that.
Please teach your students not to follow your footsteps. That’s the least you can do for them.
🚨STATEMENT
We are deeply concerned by multiple reports reaching us of students and other protestors being targeted, detained, or arrested by various state agencies, particularly in Assam, West Bengal, and Bihar.
The Cockroach Janta Party had called off its nationwide protest only after the Government of India assured us that no punitive action would be taken against any protestor, either now or in the future, in any BJP-ruled or NDA-ruled states. The reports emerging from these states are therefore a matter of grave concern.
First, we wish to assure every protestor that our legal team is already coordinating with brilliant lawyers in the concerned states to secure the release of those detained and to extend all possible legal assistance. This has been happening from Day 1.
Second, we call upon the Government of India, particularly @JPNadda ji and @DrJitendraSingh ji, to immediately honour the assurance given to us by ensuring the release of those detained and by directing that no coercive or retaliatory action is taken against any protestor anywhere in the country. The FIRs registered ought to be withdrawn too.
The Government of India is also reminded of its commitment to furnish us the written guarantee in this regard by tomorrow, Tuesday, 28 July 2026.
Our decision to suspend the nationwide protest was taken in good faith and solely on the basis of the government’s assurance that it would stand by its word. Any departure from that assurance would not merely amount to a breach of trust with the Cockroach Janta Party but would also be a breach of public trust with lakhs of young Indians who chose dialogue over protests.
Such breach of trust will be completely unacceptable to the youth.
The Government of India is reminded that it derives credibility not from just making a promise, but from the promises they honour.
To the young protestors we say, hold on. We are with you. The CJP continues to closely monitor the situation and expects the Government of India and all BJP/NDA state governments to act with utmost urgency, responsibility, and good faith that the present circumstances demand. We demand that all detainees/arrestees be released immediately, and in any case by tomorrow, and that all FIRs be withdrawn immediately, failing which we shall take further necessary steps.

@AprajitaSarangi@dpradhanbjp Did he take moral responsibility though? The resignation letter reads very differently.. it is very clear from the letter that he had no other choice but to resign. He never claimed or accepted his failure for the paper leaks.
@Amockx2022 By this logic, Modiji should just leave and be out there in the world. Anyways one can count the number of days he spends in the country on the palm of one hand. Let this country be ruled by someone who is competent.
Posting such tweets while students protest to demand a better education system.. no sensibility, no empathy, no responsibility, no accountability.
You don't deserve to be the education minister.

Everyone at jantar mantar. Stay safe. It's going to be a long night. Remember.
लंबी है ग़म की शाम मगर, शाम ही तो है।
There will be light. There has to be.
This is by far the most shameful act by the current government. The least they should do is have a dialogue with the public. But then, they do think they are above the law, almost god like looking down on puny people

Day 17 of Sonam Sir’s Hunger-Strike.
He has started losing muscle mass and is in immense pain. Like everyone else, I begged him to end his fast.
He calmly replied, “Don’t ask me to end my fast. Ask the govt why they won’t even have a dialogue.”
#SOS: To every Indian,
Things are looking grimmer by the day.
I don’t know how much longer Sonam sir can hold on. He keeps telling us he can. But those of us sitting beside him are terribly worried.
This is a man who could have chosen a life of comfort and recognition. Instead, the recipient of a Ramon Magsaysay Award, an honour equivalent to the Nobel Prize, is putting his own life at risk for the future of our children, the young, and this country. He sits for those dead students murdered by a broken, corrupt education system. He is sacrificing his body and maybe his life for a greater cause.
It makes me think what does it say about US that a son of India, who brought us such great honour before the world, has to STARVE himself to death simply to be heard by his OWN government?
This is not my idea of India. This is not India!
Somewhere along the way, we stopped feeling. We began to accept silence when there should have been outrage, indifference where there should have been compassion. We have become spectators to suffering. We have convinced ourselves that someone ELSE will speak, someone ELSE will act.
I have no words left.
I am sorry sir.
We are failing you. We are failing you by allowing a nation to reach a point where a man of your integrity and stature must gamble with his own life just to make those in power LISTEN. We are failing you because we normalised arrogance over empathy. We normalised power over compassion. And we normalised indifference over conscience.
July 20 is our last attempt to save you.
If we cannot stand up now, history will not ask what Sonam Wangchuk did for India. It will ask what India did when Sonam Wangchuk needed her.
