I wish our Telugu film websites and review pages don't give a 'rating' to #SingGeetham when it releases. That legendary icon has nothing left to prove to anyone at 94. This film should be seen as an opportunity to respect and celebrate #Singeetham garu's work and life. 🙏🏻😊❤️

Hyderabad: Rs 100 Cr corruption!!!
HMWSSB General Manager would sell tankers at exorbitant price and earn Rs 50K per day (said ACB sources). He would charge Rs 5000 per tanker for apartments. Most of the tankers were unofficially booked.
Details- Saggam Anantha Laxmi Kumar @ S.A.L Kumar, General Manager (E), Project Division-VIII, HMWSSB.
ACB conducted simultaneous raids on properties of (HMWSSB) General Manager Kumar in connection with a disproportionate assets case. Searches are underway at nearly eight locations across Hyderabad and surrounding areas.
During the raids, ACB officials reportedly seized
1. ₹1.05 crore in cash
2. Huge quantity of gold and silver ornaments.
3. Property documents were also recovered during the searches.
According to preliminary information, Kumar is suspected to have amassed assets worth nearly ₹100 crore, including three flats in a gated community in Hyderabad, six open plots on the city outskirts, and around three acres of land in Nizamabad.
The searches are being carried out at Kumar’s residence in Mallapur, Secunderabad, and other associated premises. Officials are also expected to open bank lockers soon as part of the investigation. There is a possibility that raids may be extended to the houses of Kumar’s relatives.
ACB officials stated that the raids are still continuing and the total value of the seized assets is yet to be officially ascertained.

General Manager for Red Hills
It was just before dawn. Hyderabad city hadn’t fully woken up yet. At Begum Bazar’s Jinsi Chauraha, what looked like an ordinary morning turned into a moment of raw courage.
On March 4, Manju Omlata stepped out for a morning walk with her daughter-in-law. As they reached near Hindi Marwadi Vidyalaya, a rowdy-sheeter from Dabirpura, Mohammed Sohel, suddenly lunged at her, trying to snatch the gold chain from her neck.
In the struggle, his scooter lost balance and fell. The victim screamed for help.
A few meters away, an auto driver, Mohammed Zaheer, had already crossed the spot. But something in his side mirror caught his attention. He had moved nearly 100 meters ahead.
He didn’t think twice.
Zaheer immediately turned his auto around and sped back.
As the accused tried to escape, Zaheer rammed his auto into the bike, knocking him down. The rowdy-sheeter picked up a stick and attacked. Zaheer didn’t back off. He stood his ground, fought back, and stopped him from fleeing.
By then, patrolling police reached the spot and took the accused into custody.
And Zaheer?
He quietly left. No noise. No claim. No reward expected.
Later, the victim informed the Goshamahal police about the unknown auto driver who stepped in when it mattered.
CCTV cameras had captured everything. The chase. The impact. The fight.
Police traced the auto number from the footage and, using technical inputs, identified Zaheer.
On Tuesday, at the TGICCC in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad City Police Commissioner V. C. Sajjanar invited Zaheer to his chamber.
He was honoured with a cash reward and a commendation certificate.
CP VC Sajjanar called him what most people only talk about - a real role model.
In a time when many look away, Zaheer chose to act. He risked his life for a stranger. Asked for nothing in return.
The accused, Mohammed Sohel, has been arrested by Goshamahal Police. He is a known rowdy-sheeter with 16 cases across police stations.

WHY ARE WORKERS AGITATING???
Today morning, Satyanarayana, a housekeeping supervisor at PVR Galleria, Punjagutta, Hyderabad came to work as usual.
But suddenly started experiencing discomfort in his chest and told the management that he wants to leave. He was not given permission to go.
After a little while, Satyanarayana started throwing up and fell unconscious in front of the movie projection screen while working!
Guess what the management of PVR Galleria did???
They got him lifted from inside the mall and left him on the footpath 🙏🏽
He was left to die on the road…!!!
Movie Screening giant, PVR, reported ₹ 58,746 million consolidated revenue in 2025!!!
They didn’t have an iota of humanity in their heart to even call for an ambulance and treat Satyanarayana as a human.
He was dumped on the street like some garbage…!!!
Satyanarayana probably is a third party employee and PVR Galleria probably didn’t want their morning business to be affected by a dead worker in their premises. Also, if they called for an ambulance, they would have to pay a few lakhs towards the treatment. Why lose money for a worker?? Was that the thought process? @_PVRCinemas
Wife of Satyanarayana was seen asking what stopped them from calling an ambulance and sending him to a government hospital at least. There is NIMS Hospital just 5mins away from their mall!!!
Such shamelessness!
Such inhumanity!
This is exactly the kind of behaviour against which workers are protesting in Noida for the last few days.
HOW TO TEACH LAZY AUTHORITIES A LESSON???
Mahabubabad Municipality 21st ward decided not cleaning garbage for a few days is okay!
Citizens requested, complained and then decided to teach the officials a lesson.
They collected the trash and dumped the garbage in every section room at the municipal office.
Of course, the officials were arguing with the citizens saying it is wrong to dump garbage in a government office in the officer’s chamber. I wonder why they think citizens can live among garbage and officers who are paid salaries with tax payers money cannot live for 5mins in the midst of garbage.
Kudos to the citizens of Mahabubabad, Telangana 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼!
Absolutely love your protest.

For five relentless months, we have been fighting a losing battle against the mosquito menace in Moosapet area. From October till today, the situation has only worsened. In all my life in Hyderabad, I have never seen such an uncontrolled and sustained outbreak.
We raised complaints. We met officials. We were told de-watering drives were underway. We were assured of removal of water hyacinth and fogging was being intensified. The GHMC Commissioner @CommissionrGHMC Karnan made promises They are all writings on water. A new Cyberabad commissioner @MC_Cyberabad came nothing changed. Hydra commissioner @Comm_HYDRAA visited , lot spoken , but no relief.
Every agency claims action. On the ground, there is none. We are just asking removals of water hyacinth followed by anti larval measures.
Papers publishing lakhs are being siphoned off in the name of fogging. But residents continue to live with unbearable swarms every evening. The gap between official claims and ground reality has never been this stark. Two lower rung officers Naresh and Ranjit talk smoothly but the didn’t accept my invitation to come and visit our apartments during evenings to know the problem.
This is not just inconvenience. It is a public health risk. It reflects systemic civic negligence.
Hyderabad deserves better.
If the municipal administration cannot control a basic public health issue like mosquito breeding, what does that say about urban governance? The silence from the highest levels is even more disturbing. The Chief Minister, who also holds the municipal portfolio, must step in. Civic health cannot wait for file movements or review meetings.
It’s about accountability
