The film loses steam in the second half, just like Leo and Master. Repetitive sequences exactly like Jailer and Vikram that make it feel far from fresh.
The highlights of the second half are limited to the Upendra scene and the vintage de-aged Rajini moments, but beyond that, the pacing feels overly dragged.
Aamir Khan’s cameo mirrors Rolex’s style but fails to deliver the same impact.
Loki seems to have stuck to the familiar Jailer/Vikram template. Climax feels very lame.
1000 crore still a distant dream.
#Coolie Interval
The interval block is an absolute banger — badass Rajini is back, oozing swag and peak villain energy.
The powerhouse reference hits hard, and the de-aging scenes, especially paired with vintage Sathyaraj’s voice, are pure nostalgia.
The story might be simple, but the engaging screenplay, much like Vikram, keeps you hooked from start to finish.
If the second half maintains these high points, we’re in for an absolute screamer. Fingers crossed.
#Coolie#RK is in full-on fun mode.
The girls’ hostel fight and the chair scene have that classic vintage Rajini charm.
That said, the whole cremation chair concept feels reminiscent of the Leo “narabali” sequence.
Nagarjuna’s performance is just mid so far, while Soubin is absolutely stealing the show.
Ani is delivering as always.

A breath of fresh air among recent superhero movies — #DC still has life.
The movie’s theme resonated strongly, especially in today’s political climate, making it both timely and impactful.
While the Clone Superman arc felt underwhelming, the emotional depth delivered through the dog and the parent-child dynamics really stood out.

A promising concept with tons of potential, but the execution is disappointingly weak. The film could’ve wrapped up in two hours—yet it drags with pointless scenes that add nothing to the emotion, character depth, or plot.
Scenes like making a corporate criminal beg on the streets or giving a lavish cremation to a beggar come off as absurd. Nagarjuna’s role felt clichéd, while Dhanush stands out as the film’s only saving grace.
#Kuberaa first half review
Engaging storyline with a clean screenplay, but the extended runtime really holds it back. Several unnecessary scenes could’ve been trimmed without affecting the narrative.
Had great potential, but loses impact due to the pacing.
#Dhanush and #Rashmika’s train station scene is 👏
#Dhanush ensures the emotional beats land well.

Major disappointment! Couldn’t even sit through the whole film.
The second half turns into a flat, lifeless revenge saga.
#STR feels completely dummy in the 2nd half. None of the supporting characters leave any impact.
Total disappointment from #Manirathnam
#Thuglife Interval
Off to a decent start! The story feels quite predictable, but the screenplay keeps it engaging.
The presence of #Kamal and #STR commands attention throughout.
The CCV-like vibe takes away some freshness—really hoping the second half brings something extraordinary to elevate the film!

A very eccentric movie that is either going to win big or choke big.
Totally depends on how family and GenZ takes it forward.
A Reel mash up kind of film with too many references. If you get into @Adhikravi’s zone it’s a blast or else it tests your patience
AK has been unleashed big time!
The flash back song with Hollywood reference is Peak Maja. Simran portions leave a big smile.
#GoodBadUgly
First half is full vibe and sambavam
When a 50 year old, so called “Boomer” is unleashed and breathes fire! 🐉🐉
Glad to see AK in this mode again!
Banger bro @Adhikravi
Too many AK references though. Konjam overboard xP

First half is really good! Sai Pallavi is the only saving grace of the movie!
Second half in Pakistan felt too weird. Why the unnecessary hate? Zero logic in the 2nd half. Climax was too abrupt. No clear conclusion if the lead pairs conflict got resolved!
DSP continues his golden form!

A high quality movie with amazing acting, screen presence, music, action and cinematography!
But I think it’s high time, #AK stops doing what movie he likes to make, and start doing movies that the audience will like :/
No commercial value. No repeat value, Not for family audience. Nothing intelligent in screenplay! Flat.
Except for the climax, movie doesn’t have any high moments. A movie like breakdown won’t be a great movie even in Hollywood if released now! Should have definitely chosen a better source material!
Let’s wait for #GBU to unleash the full BO potential of #AK and mainly to unleash the mania of #AK fans!

AK 🐉 Magizh 🐉 Ani 🐉
This movie will stand the test of time.
AK the performer has the biggest feast in this movie!
But as we expected, it is not a mass film but definitely an extremely quality movie!
#Magizh groomed the audience perfectly for this movie!
#VidaaMuyarachi
@AnirudhOffll_ is in god mode! Building the tension perfectly. Oofff 🔥
#AK showing subtle mass! Screen presence king he is!
Boomer dialogue and #AK’s reply will bring the roof down!
Cinematography is not Hollywood level. It’s beyond Hollywood level! Sathyama!
