According to IMD, weak #ElNino may form in June itself, which is likely to become 'moderate' by July, and emerge stronger by September-end, so basically the entire southwest monsoon season will remain under its shadow. This, when #monsoon arrival itself seems to be delayed.

This means, the seasonal rains from June to September are most-likely to be 'Below-Normal'.

Well temperatures are already down by 6-10°C over parts of Haryana, #Delhi in the last 24 hrs. As predicted by IMD, #thunderstorms to bring relief from extreme heat during 28th - 30th May.

But this may not last long, as mercury to rise again by 4-6°C during 31st May-03rd June.⬇️
