@MarkWarner Virgina Democrats violated their own state laws in an attempt to amend their state charter, so it was deemed ILLEGAL. Likewise, the Alabama map violated the 14th amendment so that map too was deemed ILLEGAL.

The laws must be enforced. Even when it doesn't favor Democrats.

But stop pretending it's an ICE issue. LEGAL citizens are treated FAR worse in American prisons than illegal aliens are in Delaney Hall.

@BernieSanders This would be pure Marxism, authorizing the state to seize the means of production. It would clearly and unequivocally violate the 5th Amendment's Takings Clause.

To circumvent the Bill of Rights like this, you'd need to amend the Constitution, not simply pass a new statute.
