We had a cold and frosty week in Newcastle last week! ☃️ The outreach team visited 11 schools over the course of the week - from Hexham and Jarrow to Bedlington and Sunderland. We spent the week talking (mostly) about competitive applications and interviews skills 🚝

We had a wonderful time welcoming Bishopshalt School’s Y9s into college this week. A particular highlight was visiting the natural history museum - the outreach team haven’t been over to OUHM in a while!

Thank you to Year 10 and 12 from @stacsouthwark who came to visit us these past two weeks. Year 12s attended taster lectures on vaccinology and linguistics, and Year 10s explored @Pitt_Rivers using objects from the collection #OxOutreach

We spent a hot morning at @ArkAllSaints yesterday running sessions on higher education explained with their Year 7s, and university and future choices for Year 10 - thank you for having us 🌞 #OxOutreach

We'll also be hosting a talk with some students from the Oxford LGBTQ+ society about being an LGBTQ+ student at Oxford.

It's our University Open Days next week, 2 and 3 July! We're very excited to meet potential applicants over the two days.

We'll be sharing some information about St Anne's over the next few days for prospective students to consider.

And, each day, we will be organising demonstration interviews so students can see what an Oxford Interview might look like ahead of applications over summer!
