Celebrant: Fr Marcus Holden
@BishopBarron Issue is liturgical not catechetical. As an ordinariate priest I introduced ad orientem and kneeling at rails at all masses including NO; transformation in how people approached altar was tangible. You are what you pray..and modernist worship is to often centred on man not God.
I’m just arriving now at Westminster Cathedral for the National Mass of Thanksgiving. I wish you a Happy Feastday today! I include anyone reading this tweet in my prayers and my intention for this Mass.
Happy Feast of Jesus Christ the Eternal High Priest! I thank Jesus from the bottom of my heart for the call to share in His Priesthood and I wish all my brother priests today a very happy Feastday!
Due to a last minute change of plans, there will now be Mass at 9.30am on Tuesday (28th) at St Ann’s. Do please come along if you can, and please spread the word. Thank you.
Much like his friend, St Teresa of Avila, St John of the Cross made many reforms to the Carmelite Order. In 1577, a group of Carmelites decided to stop him by imprisoning him. He was there for 8 months before escaping.
There will be a Requiem Mass for the repose of the soul of Peggy Cauchi on Wednesday 20th February at 2.15pm. This will be the only Mass at St Ann's on Wednesday this week. Please spread the word amongst friends who usually attend Mass at St Ann's on Wed. mornings. Thank you.
Today we celebrate one of the greatest conversions in the Church's history - the conversion of St Paul. Ask God to inspire you with faith as zealous as St Paul's!
O God, who taught the whole world through the preaching of the blessed Apostle Paul, draw us, we pray, nearer to you through the example of him whose conversion we celebrate today, and so make us witnesses to your truth in the world. 🙏 St Paul, pray for us!
