On Maundy Thursday, our Y5 and Y6 pupils led us in a reflection of the Stations of the Cross, using their own words and prayers to tell the story of Jesus' final journey.

Pupils across STOCMAC led a Lenten Roadshow on Peter’s denial, embracing “love one another as I have loved you” ✨🙏 and exploring ways to support refugees and asylum seekers. A powerful experience!

Our Y3 and Y4 children explored the story of the Last Supper. Jesus shared a special meal with his disciples. He was preparing to lay down his life for us.

On Monday 🌿 Years R, 1 & 2 helped us begin Holy Week with prayers, songs, and thoughtful reflections on the story of Palm Sunday—well done all! 🙏✨

Our pupils brought in some wonderful Easter bonnets and Easter Artwork to display around school in the last week of term. 🐣🌸 We were privieged to see such creativity and festive spirit—well done everyone! 🎨✨

Each week during Lent, our children have given up some of their playtime to gather in our prayer room to pray and reflect on the Stations of the Cross. ✝️🙏 This has been a truly quiet, meaningful way in which to grow in faith together.

In February, we celebrated Lunar New Year with beautiful flower dancers, exciting dragon dances and a chance to pick a fortune message from our blossom tree. 🌸🐉✨

We enjoyed a wonderful assembly with Mr Ben Taylor for a special occasion as he presented us with special bibles to welcome us formally into the St Teresa of Calcutta MAC family. We truly are “stronger together than apart.” Together, we Dream, Believe, and Achieve!

Our Year 5s were absolute stars this week diving into the Parable of the Sower! 🌟 They explored the moral that a receptive heart (the "good soil") is key to growth and wisdom. 🪴 We are so proud of their deep reflections on how we can nourish our own minds to flourish.

We were delighted to celebrate a special Advent Mass with our new priest, Fr George. We shared a prayerful and joyful time as we prepared our hearts for the coming of Christmas during this Holy Season ✨🎄

Our children visited Robert Harvey Care Home to sing carols and deliver special cards made by pupils across the school. It was a lovely opportunity to spread joy to residents and staff while sharing the true spirit of the season. 🎄✨

Our amazing KS1 children put on a wonderful Nativity Play from the point of view of different animals and other characters. They retold the Nativity story in a very entertaining way! 🎄✨Fantastic singing, confident narration and a very grumpy sheep! We are so proud of everyone!
