The children in Collective Worship today focused on using vocabulary to describe a picture which was zoomed in. The children also discussed what bullying means. The children also explored some scenarios and discussed what to do?
Today, Gary and Anna from Carymoor Environment Centre visited the school to teach us about how we can reduce, reuse and recycle more to live a greener life. Each year group will take part in an interactive workshop to learn more about the impact of our waste on the planet.
KS2 took part in a Klezmer workshop, with Jackdaw Music Education Trust. Klezmer is Jewish celebration music that originated in Eastern Europe. It was wonderful to use our violin skills to play with professional musicians and we loved having so many parents/carers come to watch!

Today our collective worship was a focus on mental health awareness of 6th -12th February mental health week. We explored connections using Lego and the connections to help our own mental help.
LOVE - our collective worship assistants wrote the most beautiful prayer in worship this afternoon. Our children strive to be the best they can ever day. We are so proud of them all. โRoots to Grow and Wings to Flyโ.
Chaffinch class have loved our art lesson today! We have learnt different techniques when using chalk. Then they learnt how to draw an Amazon tree frog. The children tried to draw the frogs twice and are proud of their creations. What do you think?
