PTSD is an anxiety disorder that can impact any person of any age after experiencing or witnessing a traumatic event or events. It does not always look the same, and healing isn’t linear.
Throughout all of our programs we take pride in using trauma-informed care to foster an environment where adults, children, and families feel safe and confident in their ability to connect with peers in a positive manner.
Join us in raising awareness, showing compassion, and creating safe spaces for those affected. 💙

We’re excited to feature one more foster family in our program for Foster Care Awareness Month! Join us in celebrating Robb Gutierrez and TJ Collins! 💙
Family was always important to Robb and TJ. They knew they wanted to be parents and loved the idea of starting a family through fostering. After getting started, they found fostering incredibly rewarding and officially adopted their child earlier this month!

Today for Foster Care Awareness month, we’re turning the spotlight on Gina and Franklin Buell! 💙
Gina was inspired to begin fostering after assuming custody of her five nieces and nephews. Wanting to provide them with a sense of permanency, pursuing foster care with the goal of adoption seemed like the best path forward to ensure the children had a safe, supportive, and lasting home.
See below for what support Gina found to be the most helpful in her fostering journey!
