A church in Derby, UK. We believe in Jesus, trust His Bible, love God and want to serve and look after the world and everyone in it. #compelledtoresist
@GMJacobAagaard@RhonddaBryant Hi there. Don't know you, hope you don't mind me chipping in- without challenging your main point- I wanted to note that technically the CofE isn't state-sponsored, unless you count gift-aid. We have a weird position as a national church, I grant you, but we aren't gov't funded.
@StefBenstead@LeeGatiss just in case you didn't get an answer, synod can't do much because the proposals are technically "experimental prayers" commended by the Bishops and so don't need a vote: they are now officially unofficial prayers. The question being raised is- does it change CoE doctrine?
Whilst we miss being in our building, there are some perks to watching services from the comfort of your own home... #lockdowndays @ Chaddesden, Derby, United Kingdom https://t.co/Noz1OXpU3k
But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
