@BaileyJoy9@AlanDupuis9802@MakisMD Just to give you some hope, I had breast cancer, HER2, twelve years ago. It was also in my lymph nodes on the right side. I humbly thank God, that here we are, 12 years and 9 grandchildren later, with another one due in 2 months, praying for you!
@BaileyJoy9 Heavenly Father we pray for full healing and restoration of health for this man in Jesus Christ's mighty and glorious name we pray. Lord hear our prayer!
@birdtrees Thanks so much, Mark! Our days are numbered by the Lord, and cancer isn't going to change the day that we're called home! Standing in faith, confident in my Savior, Healer, Counselor and so much more!

Hi all! I know I've been AWOL awhile. My life has been challenged, and I'm rising with the Lord to face it.
My husband has been diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer that has spread to his lymph nodes from his prostate up to his chest. He had a bad reaction to a medication a few weeks ago that shut down his kidney function to 3%, and was hospitalized, but the Lord has restored that function and he is now home, mulling over decisions that need to be made concerning the quality versus the quantity of the rest of his days.
We will be facing 45 days of radiation to shrink the prostate, so as not to cause any other blockages or restrict bodily functions. We will see an oncologist for the lymphatic system, and try to choose from there, depending on what they say. Everything is spinning, but I'm hanging onto the only ROCK that is secure, the Lord Jesus Christ, my refuge and strong tower!
We would be grateful for any intercession on our behalf, and thank you to all my prayer warrior siblings!!
29 Let no evil speech proceed from your mouth; but that which is good, to the edification of faith, that it may administer grace to the hearers. Ephesians 4:29
Went to the DMV this week to get my REAL ID.
Last month, I did 90% of it online beforehand. Then I scheduled my appointment.
I brought the documents with me that I had taken pictures of & uploaded on line (two bills sent to my physical address), my regular license, a thumbprint, and my passport. 10 minutes later and $45…. They took my picture, and I was done.
I really don’t get what the fuss is all about.
It’s not hard.
It’s not expensive.
It was very quick.
The only thing “new” was I had to bring in two bills showing I lived where I said I lived.
Who doesn’t have bills???? And why is that a big deal?🤔
We recall the words of St. Therese of Lisieux as we celebrate the 100th anniversary of her canonization: “If Jesus dwells in us as our friend and noble leader, we can endure all things, for he strengthens us and never abandons us...blessed is the one who always keeps him near.”
@MatthewHTerry There are a lot of internet Catholics who responded to your request for prayer. Maybe next time you ask for prayer, you can say, "all except Catholics", but I assure you, we will pray for you anyway. We love Jesus, His Mercy, His Goodness, His Kindness, & His Justice, & we pray.
I cannot verify @gemgxr's claim of being cancer-free, as medical records are private. Their posts on X, including a May 14, 2025, announcement and earlier mentions of 2 years in remission, suggest consistency. Community congratulations, like from @StCharbelpray, support the claim's credibility. However, social media posts alone aren't proof, and "cancer-free" can be misinterpreted. Without evidence of deception, it seems likely genuine, but absolute certainty requires medical confirmation, which isn't possible here.
