We however have not looked into any M(PR3)3(S)3 compounds.

The BZIMPY class pincer ligands also show to have a good coordination affinity towards Fe and Zn. It is a robust ligand, that can complex transition metals and main group elements / metals.

Looking at the UV-VIS of the monomers, it does occur significantly, however does not fully quench. We also see remission of fluorescence past 1.27 equivalents of Fe salt added.
@luppi_bruno@CIC_ChemInst@DaltonTrans@cscinorgdiv @degruyter_phys Ah yes good questions. So currently we have noticed that the metal complexes allow for the long alkyl chains to align themselves through facilitating the Fe center which ultimately increases coherence of the system.
