St Columb Community Fire Station. Protecting St Columb & surrounding areas. Tweets live from incidents and information on local community events and messages
Today Year 2 visited the fire station. With the help of the amazing firefighters we recreated the Great Fire of London, burning the models we made in DT. It was a fantastic experience and the children even got to use the hoses to put the fires out! @StColumbCFRS @KLacademytrust
On Tuesday drill night we said farewell and happy retirement to our very own Phil Braden. He has given 25 years service(to the day) to St Columb. He will be missed tremendously! Bye Phil! 😢
We're experiencing extremely high demand on our service at the moment.

Bit of training with a difference tonight! Using our new battery operated crash rescue equipment, we used our skills and precision to control the tools and have a game of Jenga! #training#rtc#crashrescue#jenga

Combination drills last night at drill night keeping our skills up wearing our new kit too! Then at 02:49 this morning we were called to a single vehicle road traffic collision. Crew made the scene safe. Police and ambulance were also in attendance

Fire patrol tonight as there is a VERY high risk of wildfire due to the weather conditions. Please avoid burning garden waste or using disposable BBQ’s as these could get quickly out of control.
Today is Firefighters' Memorial Day and is a day whereby we pay tribute to the memory of all fallen firefighters and we thank and support firefighters that dedicate themselves to protecting and serving their communities #FMD2020
