Our children celebrated Diwali today with a dance workshop for KS2. They thoroughly enjoyed trying out a new style of dance, as well as learning about another religion. 🎇🪔✨
November is the month of All Souls. Our school family have written intentions for their special family members in heaven. These are on our prayer tree in the hall, we will keep these prayers in our thoughts.

Today our Y5’s led us in prayer to reflect on Remembrance Day in school, whilst our Y6’s represented us at the Englefield Green community service outside of school.

EYFS are prepping for Bonfire Night by keeping warm by the fire in their small world, spelling with firework phonics and learning number formation using sparkles and brushes.
Our brand new nurture room. Specially designed and put together to support some of our younger children with their learning in the afternoons. They are thoroughly enjoying their time in here with Mrs Mason and Mrs Bianchi. 🪴
We are trekking to Pakistan, all 3796 miles to raise well needed money for families in Pakistan. It will require every child in the school to contribute a little, some a little more. How much money per mile will the children be sponsored? @AbCafod
We are celebrating Black History Month for the whole of October. Today our school joined the Great Big Live Assembly to hear from speakers such as Gemma Hunt.
@CafodAB Our Spiritual Council launched our next CAFOD fundraiser. St. Cuthbert’s are walking to Pakistan. 3796 miles in total. Families will be sponsoring the children for each mile they walk. We feel so fortunate to be able to help those affected by the flooding in Pakistan.
INSET Day for us means all the training. It has been an inspirational day filled with all things inclusion. We can’t wait to implement some of the things we have learnt. It is also comforting to know we are very much on the right track with everything we currently do!
