R.I.P. Literary icon Kenzaburo Oe (1935-2023). Winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature, Oe was one of the major authors of the postwar era, focusing on anti-imperialism, nuclear power, & disability. Oe was closely tied to his brother-in-law Juzo Itami and composer Toru Takemitsu.
