At St. Francis, we give our students the tools to make informed decisions about their future careers. Building connections with our alums opens doors to that dream job. We thank our alumni who came by for our career day to assist our students in charting their path to success!
We had a packed schedule for the freshmen retreat with tours, games, pizza, and opportunities to welcome new friendships through the brotherhood. Later in the schedule, a few of our Alverna students gave a quick talk about their first day on campus and tips on how to succeed.
Much like St. Francis’ call to “rebuild the church”, our students spent the week learning about home repair for substandard housing at Nazareth Farm, a Catholic community established in 1979. The ministry offered a genuine experience of service, prayer, community, and simplicity.
SFHS welcomes Br. Antonio Moualeu who will be the new campus minister! To start his year off, Br. Antonio renewed his simple vows in the school chapel recommitting his desire to live the Gospel. “I’m very excited to serve the SFHS community as the next campus minster!”

78 years ago, Fr. Ignatius Maternowski, OFM Conv. parachuted into France and was shot by a sniper after requesting the Germans allow a field hospital for the the wounded. This martyr of mercy was the only chaplain to die that day and was from the first class at @Stfrancishigh

We continue our Lenten pause today with Psalm 61. Sometimes the most basic form of prayer is “help”. In this psalm, it begins with a heart that is heavy and ends with a song of praise. Take a breath today with this psalm and invite God into the struggle. Narrated by Mason Vail.
Once a month, the students are given the opportunity to take a breath from their academics and sit before Our Lord in adoration.

Senior J. Pivarunas broke the school's 2-mile Indoor Track record at Houghton College today with a time of 10:13.46. It was previously held by P. Goodwin.
