Dosbarth Rhaglan’s big question day: ‘What does Welsh food taste like?’ 🏴
We became food critics in our Welsh restaurant and tasted some delicious bara brith, Welsh cakes and leek and potato soup! #Welshfood
Drum roll please… 🪘
Dosbarth Rhaglan had an amazing morning learning to play the Djembe drum. A massive thank you to Mr Rhys @upbeatwales for the great experience!
Year 2 have enjoyed celebrating Science week by making a rain cloud🌧️, magic milk 🪄, patterns with skittles 🌀and their favourite experiment… a volcano explosion!🌋 @ScienceWeekUK
For science week, we made bird feeders and plant pots from compostable products ready to help wildlife grow in our school grounds. Diolch yn fawr @GwentWildlife 🌿🌱🪴 #ScienceWeek
Year 5 and 6 were very lucky to have a visit from a professional boxer, @brandonboxing8 along with @alexleguevel and @caitlinbennett_ from @Matchroomboxing
We were lucky to hear about Brandon’s journey and what inspires him to work hard at his dreams.
Tori James, the first Welsh woman to climb Mount Everest, visited year 4, 5 and 6 today. We learnt about what it takes to be an explorer and saw some of the equipment needed. Diolch Tori 🌍💪🏴
