Jesus the Good Shepherd goes in search of the 1% of the flock who is missing. The individual is what matters to him. There is a real challenge to Christians & Churches in an age when the individual gets forgotten and policy alone seems to rule.

Rough sleeper who had talked about suicide at the Thursday drop-in turned up at church to let us know he was ok. He had spent the night in North Marine Park keeping himself warm with a fire. Hopes to get promised accommodation this week.

Br Marc made his first profession in a packed church; the brethren promised " as you bind yourself to us, so we bind ourselves to you" in the service of the gospel. It's for 3 years, continuing to discern if this may lead to life profession. The mood of the service was: Hurray!
