Our school choir joined reception children to sing at Durham City Baptist Church. We're so proud! They represented St Hild’s exceptionally well and enjoyed sharing worship at the Church. Huge thanks to our staff for their hard work & Durham City Baptist Church for welcoming us!
Yr6 were very grateful to our special visitors from Durham University who taught us about China using our 5 senses. We listened to music, guessed the taste of dishes, felt silk, looked at writing (and tried to say key phrases) before smelling some ingredients. 谢谢
This week our value was Respect & how we remember others, thanking them for how they helped us during their lives.
This was important for our St Hild's family as we remember & thank Mrs Bell for always showing such love for others within our school.
We will remember them.❤️

Children throughout the school have loved working with Captain Chemistry. We've been investigating different materials to protect the egg. Our older children investigated acids & alkalis. We created chemical reactions causing too much pressure to build inside film canisters!
