Wow we had lots of personal achievements to celebrate at our Celebration Assembly.

Year 2 had an amazing time at the @CUBotanicGarden. They discovered the inside of a seed and made plant pots. They explored the gardens and discovered a variety of plants. The children were polite and asked lots of questions building on their previous Plant science topic.

Our EYFS children had a wonderful day at Cambridge University Botanic Garden. They got to explore all of the different plants and grounds using their senses of look, touch, smell and hearing.

More work has been happening in our sensory garden.
A massive thank you to Miss Bradley and Mr Clark for giving up some time on their weekend to create our new raised bed. We will be using this to grow some vegetables in the coming months.

It was so lovely to be able to welcome lots of people to our second lunch to celebrate Mother’s Day. We hope they all had a lovely time.

We have been busy creating spaces to encourage our local birds to feed and nest in our fantastic school environment. We have already had our first visitors to our feeding station!

Yesterday afternoon we welcomed our parents into school to give the pupils an opportunity to showcase their work.

It was fantastic to see so many supportive parents throughout the school enjoying the books and the chance to see the learning taking place here.

Wow! Our playground has been transformed and we love it!

All the staff at St John's have absolutely loved seeing the joy and excitement on our children's faces as they got to play on the new markings (in between the rain showers!) Thank you again to Friends of St Johns 2023-2024 for supporting this whole school project!
