A fun week for Year 6's with trips to Bushy Park for den building and at Hounslow Urban Farm feeding sheep, goats and alpacas. An animal encounter this morning showed them off to be so brave handling snakes, lizards, and a giant African land snail among other things.
The Nursery children have had so much fun learning about rhyme in the past two weeks. We read Julia Donaldsonβs Room on the Broom and the children used βmy turn, your turnβ and wands to hear and find the rhymes.
What an amazing morning exploring Quarr Abbey! The children loved seeing red squirrels and learning the history of the Abbey. The morning finished with reflection and prayer.
A site wide photo trail finished the evening illuminated by a fantastic rainbow. Mrs Cunningham then led the evening prayer and reflection. Lights out soon to rest up for the first off site excursion tomorrow.
Areoball, Jacob's ladder and trapeze this morning. The children have had lunch and are now looking forward to afternoon activities which for some today included kayaking.
Zip wire, survival skills and orienteering were some of the activities completed this afternoon. Dinner has been completed and the children are waiting for an evening of fun games.
