Robins have become poets. To end our caterpillar topic we have been exploring poetry, banking vocabulary and using this to create our own class caterpillar poem. We enjoyed performing our poem to our class adults!
Robins enjoyed making some healthy smoothies yesterday, we wrote our own recipes, learnt to chop fruit safely and had lots of fun using the blender! We then evaluated how we could make them better for next time!
Robins enjoyed opening a sports shop in the outside area. They made price labels, sold items and then used the items to create their own games, they created a score board and thought of different ways to challenge themselves by making their games harder.
Robins have been tasting fruits from the hungry caterpillar. We explored our senses and came up with lots of vocabulary to describe the fruit. We then created a tally chart and voted for our favourite one.
Robins returned from the Bank Holiday to find our Vegetable patch is growing well and our Caterpillars have doubled in size! We look forward to harvesting and tasting some our vegetables soon!
Robins had a wonderful time of their spring walk this morning! We enjoyed watching the Dandelions blow in the wind. Thank you to our wonderful parent helpers!
