The #COVID19 pandemic has temporarily changed life as we know it in Illinois, across the country and around the world. Whether you need information about the virus or assistance from economic hardship during this time, here are a list of resources that may help:
While we should criticize those who refuse to socially distance now, we also should remember that throughout Feb., CDC downplayed immediate #COVID19 risk in US. Even in mid-March, CDC downplayed need for young people to socially distance. That hurts social distancing efforts now.

My staff and others stepped in.
Those masks are now on their way to the health care workers who desperately need them.
While I am very disappointed the USNS Mercy is not coming to WA, I appreciate that federal field hospitals are on the way to help with increased medical needs.
My staff and I will keep working until we have the resources necessary to care for all Washingtonians. #WeGotThisWA
