Josh Fowler continues to silence the doubters who said he wasn’t good enough for St.Johnstone in the premiership.
Scored in the win over Kilmarnock.
Rescued us a point against Dundee.
Scored twice to give us a win against Hibs.
Scored to give us the win against Aberdeen.
5 goals in 8 games
Couldn’t be more pleased for him 💙
@bigain84@scotlandscoeff1@sjfcnews Power failure in the east stand, all saints supporters were moved to the north and main stand. 5000+ supporters in attendance. 2 full saints stands and a full Falkirk away end
Can’t be annoyed at that at all. Played some decent football and forced Johnstone in to a couple of decent saves. Defensively done well. Can be proud of our players for that performance. Definitely developing a style of play and positive signs.
For what it’s worth we got lucky that Celtic second goal should have stood I really don’t think that ball was out.
Toby Steward 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 some magnificent saves to keep us in it. Definitely finding his feet and more confidence.
Over a week before our next game. Regroup dust ourselves down and go again against Falkirk 💙
Aye I had my digs at thistle but it was all in jest some of our fans took it too far. Thistle away last season was an incredible away day. The 0-0 atmosphere from both the thistle ultras/fans and the FCU was phenomenal couldn’t hear myself think. Hope yous get promoted this season a welcome addition to the premiership
Aye soul destroying right enough watching clubs like St.Johnstone win 3 major trophies including a historic cup double. Watching them in Europe etc.
Coincidently since 2014 St.Johnstone have played in 3 cup finals and won them all. Hearts have played in 3 and won none.
*I am not interested in any of the 16 trophies Hearts won before 2014 as that doesn’t suit my agenda for this tweet*
Tynecastle is a class away day but let’s not take the piss “Clubs like St.Johnstone” ffs 😂
Genuinely don’t think I’d follow football if I wasn’t a Hearts fan, can’t stand either of the bigots but understand they have big followings and so see why people would.
Going to watch clubs like Dundee, Hibs, St Johnstone etc must be soul destroying.
No atmosphere. 🤮🤮
@StJohnstone Can’t be disappointed tbf, amount of attacking in yhe second half against that calibre of opponent is a hugely positive sign. Toby done very well kept us in it.
@JamTarts Fair play that’s some result for Hearts. That referee was absolutely stinking. Did everything he could to get rapid the win. Now go easy on us on Saturday 😅
Cannot be making errors like that at this level. Should never be conceding a penalty there.
Fair bit of attacking but no end product.
One of those games that could have went either way and went St.Mirrens. doesn’t help when we miss penalties decent save from chapman to be fair.
Frustrating to get beat but not the end of the world. Still early days.
The FCU created an unreal atmosphere last season both at home and away. Couple of individuals (whether they were involved with fcu or not is not for me to argue) behaved in a poor manner and it seems like the group as a whole got the blame from people within the club. And now with some board members making things worse seems like the fcu can’t be bothered and I don’t blame them. No matter what they done good they got nitpicked at the for the “negatives” from some people within the club. The whole feel good factor from promotion has gone. Not just in an fcu capacity but as a fan base collectively.
Atmosphere has been shite but that’s not the supporters fault. It’s those people that have contributed to it being evaporated.
Yet those within the club won’t take responsibility they keep missing the point and trying to paint over the cracks.
