From 1 to 7 October, “Aid to the Church in Need” is promoting “A Million Children Praying the Rosary” initiative for peace and unity in the world. I wholeheartedly thank all the boys and girls who are joining in this prayer in so many parts of the world. Let us all follow their example, invoking the intercession of the Virgin Mary so that peoples may be freed from the scourge of war. In particular, let us pray for the Holy Land and for the innocent victims of violence.
Today — on the eighth centenary of his death — I wish to recall a laborer who worked with great fruitfulness in the Lord’s vineyard: Saint Francis of Assisi, whom Jesus Himself asked to repair His Church.

“Fire 🔥 up Chips”
We won, way to go Chippewas. Let’s celebrate responsibly. Let’s play hard all season long and compete for MAC Championship. It’s been a while since we’ve had one. Let’s win a bowl game. #Goals

The Pope’s Prayer intention for the month of October is to pray for those who suffer with mental illness:
“God of life, you know, the innermost depths of our hearts, the light and shadows within us, the silent wounds that sometimes no one sees.
Today we bring before you, our brothers and sisters, who struggle with challenges to their mental health, who suffer in solitude with anxiety, depression, or any other mental illness. You call them by name with tenderness, and in you, they find dignity and hope.
Forgive us for the times we have looked the other way, feeding the stigma and discrimination of persons with mental illnesses.
May your church be an open house, a safe space, where everyone has a place, a community that accompanies and never excludes, that listens without judging, and draws near without fear.
We pray to you, Lord, for those who care, professionals, family members, volunteers, men and women who, with patience and love, build bridges of understanding and comfort. Give them strength and compassion to sustain others.
Send your spirit upon us, that we may learn to welcome and integrate, care for mental health, into the life and ministry of our communities and of the whole church, and thus become a living sign of your mercy. Which never abandons and always restores.
Amen.”
Pope Leo XIV dedicates his October prayer intention to mental health ministry, calling on the Church to listen without judging and accompany those who suffer without excluding them.

#Script - that all men were created equal with their own set of alignments from which they were created. Designed for their each own individual purpose.

#Script - the failure of #humanity is because of disloyalty. It was original sin. When Eve was taken by the Serpent and lied and fooled her husband Adam. The failure of mankind is do to the failure of women. A woman could be in paradise and she still wouldn’t be happy. Amen 🙏
Here are three simple ways to build a deeper relationship with the guardian angel God assigned specifically to you... ⤵️
📅 October 2: Feast of the Holy Guardian Angels
First, don’t let October 2 pass like any other day. It’s the Feast of the Guardian Angels. Attend Mass if you can, perform an act of charity, or simply spend a few extra minutes thanking God for the angel He gave you.
Second, pray to your guardian angel every single day. “Angel of God, my guardian dear…” It takes less than a minute. Morning or night doesn’t matter nearly as much as making it a habit.
🙏 Guardian Angel Prayer:
Angel of God, my guardian dear,
To whom God's love commits me here,
Ever this day [or night] be at my side,
To light and guard, to rule and guide.
Amen
Third, actually acknowledge your angel throughout the day. Before a difficult decision, during temptation, or even after something unexpectedly works out, pause for a second. Ask for guidance. Say thank you. That tiny habit can completely change how you move through ordinary moments.
Because your guardian angel isn’t meant to be remembered once a year. It’s a reminder that even in the moments when you feel completely alone, God’s loving care is closer than you realize.
💬 When was the last time you actually spoke to your guardian angel? And if it’s been a while, what would you say today?
