We are very proud of our U13 camogie team who qualified for the @TippCumanNamBun Roinn A County Final today. The girls overcame tough opposition but their skill and determination shone through as they now progress to play Cashel in Semple Stadium in June.

Our U11 Camogie team had a brilliant day of camogie in the sunshine in Roscrea today.The girls played some excellent camogie and showed great determination but unfortunately a win and a draw wasn't enough to qualify from the blitz.

Today we began the defence of our All Ireland Volleyball title at the Portlaoise Regionals.
We had 2 teams in the competition, both played some brilliant volleyball and played each other in the tournament final! Both teams now qualify for National Finals!
We were delighted to be nominated as a recipient of Tesco Community Fund initiative. Our Student Council was delighted to accept a cheque of €287 recently.
Our 3rd and 4th classes went to the McAuley Centre today to make St. Brigid Crosses. The girls had a great time and we extend a special thank you to Brigid Jones and Frances Maxwell for giving of their time to give the girls this opportunity.
We have reassessed risks & decided to remain closed tomorrow, Friday. With our best intentions, it is simply not possible to reopen, with the risks far outweighing the possibility of keeping 200+ persons safe, not to mention cars & pedestrians.
Due to the ongoing poor weather conditions and in the interest of ensuring everyone’s safety, the Board of Management have made the decision to remain closed tomorrow, Thursday 9th January.
The access roads, carpark and school yards are simply unsafe to allow a return to school.
