The Lunar New Year in 2026 begins on February 17. This marks the start of the Year of the Horse, which is celebrated over a 15-day period culminating in the Lantern Festival on March 3, 2026. The festivities include various customs and traditions that vary by region.

After careful consideration and consultation regarding current attendance trends, I am writing to inform you that school will be closed tomorrow, February 12, 2026 due to a significant increase in illness among both students and staff.
