The Mental Health of everyone in our school community is so important we want to make sure that everyone knows there is support available to all. The last Friday of each month staff will wear purple to raise the profile of Mental Health in our community #kenme#feelgoodfriday💜
Our S1s really showed #thestkentsway this morning at their first assembly. Great uniform, respectful and keen to be involved in our school community. We are so proud of them 💚🖤
Today we welcome back our amazing students! Best of luck to our new S1 cohort! 😊 You will notice all staff wearing our purple 'Ken Me' t-shirts today, in support of our Mental Health initiative. Remember you can contact Student Support Staff if you need to talk 🙂
As we reach the end of another Academic Year, we wish our students, families & partners all the best during the Summer Holidays. We look forward to seeing you back in August. All the best!
As we approach Summer it's important that our St Kent's Community knows that they can seek Wellbeing Support during the Holidays. The image shows a list of services that can offer support to our young people and their families during the break.
Delighted to see our new pupils making good use of visual timetables during their transition days to maximise their independence in engaging with bespoke blends of multistudy and mainstream classes.
Lots of exciting work going on in the Multi-study for our Primary 7 transition programme. Mrs McWattie has created these visual timetables for our young people 📚✏️
Our new S1’s have been absolutely outstanding over the past two days! Our final day of transition takes place tomorrow. Looking forward to another fun filled day @StKentAc 🌟
A record breaking year for S6 Students signing up for S1 buddying duties with over 60 volunteers! These students will help our new S1's during next week's Transition visits, and the first week in August :)
📣 Fancy being a buddy for our lovely new S1’s? See Mr Burrows for more info on how to sign up. Lots of other opportunities available too. More info available on your senior PSE teams. ✅
We have started the process of finding new S6 students with the enthusiasm and approachability to support our new S1 across their upcoming transition days and in August 👌
The S6 Induction today featured lots of opportunities for our new S6 cohort including: House Captains, Subject Ambassadors, Health and Wellbeing Ambassadors, S6 Class Buddies & Intensive Buddies.
Applications are now open for free school transport for August 2022. The process is different this year and all pupils entitled to transport should apply/reapply. Applications close on 17/6. Information about this year’s process can be found here: https://t.co/voQRULdCd5
We are a competitive P7 cohort during @StKTransition session this morning! Some disappointment that shoe repair and kite flying don’t feature within the timetable… 😂 thanks St Kent’s for a fab session this morning! We are very excited about our transition days ❤️💛🖤💚 #STPS
Our final online transition lesson takes place today at 11am with Mr Reilly and Mr McLeish. What an incredible bunch of young people! Lots of brilliant work going on over the last few months. We can’t wait to see you all in June for your transition days! 🌟
