Today we remember the 80th Anniversary of D-Day.
We pray, with grateful thanks, for all who served; the fallen; their families.
Grant wisdom to world leaders to make wise decisions for the good of all our global family. May our children know a peaceful world.

Our children and staff each created a poppy to form part of our Remembrance display. We took this to St Mark's Church to share with the community, as part of their Remembrance Sunday service.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
We had the chance to take part in 🇯🇵 'Japanese Culture Week' and it has been a delight to welcome Mr Kageya & his university students today. We've taken part in wonderful enrichment activities and learnt so much!
We would like to say 'Arigatō' to Mr Kageya and all his students!
It was a privilege to be part of the welcome service for Rev. Nick Wells last night. Thanks to the pupils to attended to read and welcome Nick - they were brilliant ambassadors for the school 👏
Today we were pleased to welcome 🧡Councillors Richard Herrett and Olivia Brown. We discussed our recent fire damage, crime prevention in the local area and other topics which are important to us.
Thank you for your support. It was great to meet you.
Welcome back!
We began the year with a week-long focus on Ethos and Wellbeing, thinking about our Vision, Values and our Bible quote.
We have also been thinking about our feelings using the Colour Monster book and strategies to help us self-regulate and stay green 💚(calm).
Continuing a busy end of term, Year 6 enjoyed their Leavers' Disco last night. Thanks to the S&PA for organising and funding the event. Great fun was had by all (including the staff who - as usual - joined in with the Macarena!)!
Year 6 joined other local Church Schools at Christchurch Priory on Tuesday for their Leavers' Service. We had a wonderful day (and the rain held off!). This year's theme was Every Day Ubuntu, the African philosophy of inter-connectedness: 'I am because we are'. ❤️
A wonderful atmosphere today as we held our Sports Day in the glorious sunshine. Well done to 🧡🧡🧡Orange team who won the day and to every athlete who took part. Thanks to all the parents and friends who made time to come and support the event. 👏
A moment of spiritual flourishing yesterday evening in Salisbury at the Diocesan commissioning service for six new Headteachers appointed in the last 3 years. Bishop Stephen and his wife warmly welcomed us and our families to their home for the service.
Massive THANK YOU to everyone who turned out on this lovely sunny June evening to support the S&PA Summer Fair👏. It was lovely to see so many friends and families past and present joining together in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. 🙌

Thank you for your kind donations and offers of help and support this evening.
🙌A massive thank you to 🍒AFC Bournemouth’s Community Sports Trust for nominating St Mark's to receive a set of brand new Premier League Primary Stars match kit. We really appreciate this support for grassroots football and can’t wait to show off our new kit! ❤️🖤 @AFCBCommunity
Jesus said ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.’ (Mark 12:31).
We are a diverse and inclusive community where all are welcome. We value and celebrate individual uniqueness; we are all children of God. Together we strive to share a feeling of unity and belonging within our community.
The sun is shining today on our sponsored scoot🛴cycle🚲skate🛼 run🏃walk🚶♀️ event!
Everyone is having a great time and enjoying the extra fresh air and exercise today while raising funds for the S&PA. Thank you to everyone involved. 👏

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week and in school we have been thinking about ways to support our mental health and wellbeing, in particular, tips and Trickbox tricks we can use to alleviate anxiety, which is this year’s focus.
