Please nominate the SMG BRF (Bell repair fund) so we have a chance of winning £1000 - the more nominations the better! (Number 508571)

Bellringing can only happen thanks to brilliant volunteers who give up their time. With National Volunteers Week commencing on the 3rd June, if you know someone in the guild who has been a particular asset to ringing, please let me know so I can give them some recognition!
Just a reminder that it’s Bell Sunday coming up on the 12th! Now’s the time to work with the Church to raise some awareness about the bells and strengthen relationships (maybe even inspire some potential bell ringers at the same time 😉)
@laura53246 It’s more so because the advanced session is quite a bit more advanced! Things like spliced core 7, Deva, Glasgow - single Bristol is rung, but having it in this practice too makes the next step up a little less intimidating 😊
This Saturday is the guild Entry Level Surprise Major practice, 7:30-9pm at Edgbaston. Expect Cambridge, Yorkshire, Superlative (incl spliced) and a bit of Bristol. Hope to see you there!
Remember to keep the 11th May free in your diaries as you don’t want to miss out on the Guild Fun Day! Hosted in Moseley this year, it won’t be like your normal striking competition - unique challenges await you 😁 It’s open to all abilities so do keep an eye out for more info!!
As some of you may know, the guild AGM was held at Coleshill yesterday. It was a successful meeting but we had to say goodbye to a couple of our excellent standing committee 😢
@Phil40320 As we said goodbye to Tracy and Phil... we welcomed @yasmalc as our new treasurer, @McMitchell21 as our new ringing master, and Kirsty Gifford as our new PR officer. Good luck to you all in your new roles!
