We are proud to join #Harrow’s service of thanksgiving for the life of the late Queen. Special thanks to Emma, Bobby, Abir & Blyth for carrying the flags. @harrow_council @StMarysHarrow @HarrowScouts
He never stopped speaking out for the things he believed in, nor for working towards peace in our fractured world.
“When you want peace, you negotiate not with your friends… you talk to the one you *least* like.”
@s1eve As @PapaJatHarrow says, we've had to cancel Christmas Eve's crib service, but our nativity play DID happen (😇🥰👼!) last week. So at least our young 'uns have already been actively telling & hearing the Christmas story this yr. And we still have Christmas 10.30am family service!
Change of plan to keep things as safe as possible at our carol service at 6pm tomorrow:
This will now take place OUTSIDE (choir & brass ensemble leading favourite carols) & just 4 readings - so the whole service should last about 30 mins.

@ellenmay242 It's not quite @StMarysHarrow's complete flowerfest (every horizontal surface + many vertical ones too😁) but it's LOTS more than last year!
We are providing free singing assembly resources for schools - the first of which is now available for #Harvest. With music sung by the Vicars Choral, a reflection by @paulargooder & teaching by @tom_daggett, these are ideal for singing in bubbles https://t.co/VmHWaDcQrT
One of this morning’s Psalm refrains - verse from Ps 85:
“Mercy and truth are met together, righteousness and peace have kissed each other.” A beautiful vision on the feast of the nativity of the BVM.

After her inspiring address on Sunday evening, The Queen today speaks powerfully of Easter hope and light.
As Her Majesty says, in this dark and difficult time, the Good News of Christ’s resurrection is our guide.
The Choir of the Nation for Easter Sunday is here!
I hope you will agree it is brilliant.
Huge thanks to all those who made it happen @StPaulsChoir@tom_daggett@chinmj
