To promote World Mental Health Day on October 10th, students were reminded that giving to others and being kind can make a world of difference. Classes took part in our ‘Positive Post It Day Challenge’ spreading a wave of kindness and positivity throughout the school.

Monday 9th of September our 6th Year Art students went on tour to the Crawford Art Gallery and the National Sculpture factory as a part of their Leaving Cert coursework. Our students had a fantastic day learning, sketching and chatting to local artists.
Literary chats are back! Our Senior Book Club recommenced their monthly meetings today in the Library. We welcomed back existing members from 5th and 6th Year and were delighted to meet some new and enthusiastic readers! We look forward to some lively discussions this year.

Having studied the poem 'Blackberry-Picking' by Seamus Heaney, 3rd Yr students modelled their work on his style, by writing creatively about strawberries and blueberries. And yes, they did get the chance to eat them at the end of class!!

Global Money Week. Second Year Business Studies students participated in the European Banking Federation quiz, testing their knowledge of banking and financial matters in a fun and interactive environment. Well done to all.

Next Thursday, November 16th 2023, the First Year Students along with the RE Department will host a bake sale in aid of Midleton Flood Relief. All students will be given an opportunity to attend the bake sale and contribute to this worthy cause, while enjoying the tasty treats.
