Miss Parker’s class have been learning about the vanishing of the bees so to help out, they have been growing their own sunflowers. What a green-thumbed bunch!
We celebrated World Book Day by inviting S1 and S2 pupils along to the library for some speed reading. After much delibersation, their recommendation is Young Dracula by Michael Lawrence. It was great to see the passion for reading on show. Well done everybody.

Mr Gardiner’s Higher class today we’re doing RUAE with a twist! They had to solve the clue, race to the hiding spot of the question to read it, and answer it in their groups.
P7 having been taking part in a transition event with @StMattEnglish reading, ‘The Boy with the Butterfly Mind.’ They raised their own caterpillars then released the butterflies in to our school grounds.
