A wee pencil holder project for S1 to introduce them to our department. Very creative in their designs, we look forward to seeing the pupils a lot more in S2!
S2 pupils took part in the EDT industrial cadets bronze project Clyde valley. We are extremely proud of the work they produced and presentation they gave on the day. They have shown commitment, hard work, team work, enthusiasm. It's been a pleasure to be part of their experience
Great packaging designs by second year for the muffins they made in Home Economics. Desktop publishing, an introduction to branding, creating their own company names and designing their own logos and packaging layouts. Well done, great creativity!
Looking after hungry birds this Winter with our birdfeeders made from recycled fence panels. Sawing, chiselling, drilling, countersinking, sanding, gluing, screwdriver-ing, hammering. Good job S2! @St_Maurice_High
At @nytimes climate hub in Glasgow - fantastic day listening to indigenous people’s take on ‘false solutions’ to climate change. Higher D&M prepare to hear about this next week!
S2 girls have 3 weeks left to apply for our fully-funded virtual Young Weir Wise programme to learn more about Engineering study and careers https://t.co/OB5hhAsC2J
Lots of nervous S1’s competing to see who had the strongest bridge this morning in Technical 😂 Well done to the aptly named ‘Bridge Makers 156’ who managed an impressive 250g before failure! 🛠
