A Y4/5/6 team went to a tag rugby tournament at @SGOYateAcademy today and qualified for the South West Championships in April. They won the tournament and only lost one game all afternoon. Well done to all who took part.
Year 6 had their Victorian Day today, where they experienced Victorian-style education for the morning. It looked like they had a lot of fun, even if some were a bit taken aback by the difference to today.
We were back to school today and hope everyone made it back happily and healthily. It’s a very short term this time with just 5 weeks until Easter and lots to look forward to in that time.
Finally, Year 4 enjoyed a visit from S.F. Said yesterday, the author of their book, Varjak Paw. He spoke about perseverance and the importance of keeping going when you want to achieve something. A very engaging visit!
Year 3 loved their French cafe yesterday as well. Some of the conversation was shown in Recommendation Assembly today and it looked very impressive! Tres bien! 🇫🇷
Year 2 very much enjoyed their China workshops on Thursday. They all looked like they were having fun and we’re excited to try a variety of Chinese food too. Thank you to Mrs Porteous for cooking it all!
The PTFA are hosting a coffee morning on Friday 9th February, 9-10am in the Family Link Room. Come along to meet other parents over a cuppa. Pre-school children welcome.

Well done to our girls' football team, who played in a tournament yesterday at @Mangotsfieldps. We drew all 3 games 0-0. The girls defended really well and were very unlucky not to get on the score sheet a few times. Our next match is against Olveston on 5th March.
