Shapes are everywhere! P1 didn't believe me when I said we can find shapes everywhere, including our playground. So we headed out on a shape hunt and look what we found! 👀

We've been learning how to be a super listener which can be very tricky in a big classroom. P1 waited for their turn to speak, listened carefully to each other and were very patient! 🌟

We've been practising writing our name using different mark making tools. Today we really enjoyed using paint bags to form the letters in our name 🌟

We've had lots of 'firsts' this week in P1 including attending an assembly, visiting the Arc, the canteen, the playground and so much more! We've learned lots about each other and they've all assured me they're coming back on Monday! 😂 Have a fab weekend superstars! 🌟

Today we read the story, Jake's First Day. We talked about his pirate adventures and shared our pirate knowledge with each other. We played, we shared, we laughed and we made new friends 🌟

I've had lots of children wanting to share their adventures with their bear that was gifted during their induction. If you have any pictures with your bear, can send them to me to share with the class? 🌟 🐻

We're so excited to welcome our new P1 children tomorrow morning at 9.30am. Our wonderful P7 buddies will be there to greet their little buddy and escort them to their class. We will then welcome parents into the class at 2.30. See you all then! 🌟
