@jtrocksforever The people behind the guidestones tended to favour Asians, because they thought they were "trained to obey" over the centuries.
There are also ariosophist factions among the powerful though, and they would definitely want a fascist white west. The ONA in particular.
@MaskettaMale@whatifalthist Yeah, it's not really a science. It depends who you are comparing to who.
I'm not a fan of the whole scale-system, really. It seems to me that most people get more attractive in your eyes the more you see them, except a few outliers on the extremes.
@MaskettaMale@whatifalthist If 2/3rds of people are overweight, being average and a healthy weight should theoretically put you at 7, unless something else drags you down.
@PhilGarber5@new_datum@JordanSCoaching@The_Angkar@KimJongUnOG@Aristos_Revenge@Jclearfield2 That makes sense, although there were(and are) also low-skill factory jobs that slaves could operate. It was not worth it, however, since a slave doesn't put in the effort a free worker does, and the inefficient use of the expensive machinery cost more than paying for labour.
@Janus9387@EvaVlaar I think the quiet part these people still trying to "save Europe" mean to say, is that that is exactly what they want.
While that could work, for my part I'm not interested in taking part in the inevitable atrocities such a change woukd involve. So for me, adieu vielle Europe
@new_datum@PhilGarber5@JordanSCoaching@The_Angkar@KimJongUnOG@Aristos_Revenge@Jclearfield2 technology rendered it redundant. Most abolitionists also did not seem to care in the US when conditions for the emancipated slaves got even worse after the war than before.
But those few good people leading the fight were great. It's just a sad fact that they are so few.
@new_datum@PhilGarber5@JordanSCoaching@The_Angkar@KimJongUnOG@Aristos_Revenge@Jclearfield2 People found ways of abusing this original "mercy" and made it an abomination and crime against humanity. Then, they sought to justify it for their own benefits sake.
For the abolitionists, the moral argument is clear. However, it is telling that slavery was only abolished when
@ThomasJMain@AuronMacintyre Surprised that not more people are catching this. I guess the slightly archaic language can make it hard for people to properly comprehend what they're reading, if they're not used to it.
@JordanSCoaching@The_Angkar@KimJongUnOG@Aristos_Revenge@Jclearfield2 following a logical course if that is what is happening; for when I was a boy, I used to hear from my father that everything was topsy-turvy among them; and my father said that, p293 when he was a boy, his father had said this to him; so nobody ought to be surprised if
@noncontextreply @alifarhat79 This is investing in 2024. We used to read whitepapers and look at market signals, now it's all about whether the company murders their opposition in time.
@esmarkoconknoc @citizenpew @JoshuaPHilll If the landlord is in debt and his tenants pay it off, the bank is the main parasite ending up with the most of the tenant's hard-earned money, but the landlord is an intermediary. He takes the loan knowing he needs to sacrifice others to pay it off, all for skimming a small part
@geeshep@strike_dr The rich are the cause, but greedy boomers were the means of current neo-feudal conditions.
Boomers were the first to borrow en mass, because they wanted to live above their means. The subsequent easy money inflated the economy, enriching them at everyone else's expense.
@Axum777@UpdatingOnRome It's about optimalization, like the saying goes: Anyone can build a bridge that stands, but it takes an engineer to make a bridge that barely stands.
