Reception have loved Show and Tell today! The children love to share about their favourite things from home and we are so proud with how they are developing their communication and language skills!
We have an author in St.Oswald’s ! This morning the children enjoyed reading Mr Crowther’s newly published book ‘ Don’t Get Sucked Down the Plughole!’.
QR codes will be in each class window if you would like to purchase a copy for your child. ✍️ 🛁 🫧 🧼
Last week we celebrated Eid in Reception with our Muslim friends. Mrs Khan very kindly explained to us all about the celebration of Eid. The children created their own Mendhi patterns on some hand templates and some even enjoyed receiving henna.
Our ‘around the world in 80 days’ theme day was a big success! The children had a fantastic time learning about countries around the world and especially loved their French cafe!
Everyone had a fantatsic time at the library this week.
The librarian, Pat, has told us all the great things you can do there and got us all excited about reading more books!

The children have been set a challenge to show each other kindness❤️

The children really enjoyed this visit.
Everybody including the staff really enjoyed the brush your teeth Barney song 👍😁

We will also take part in a one minute silence at 11❤️
