It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in nursery - come decorate the tree, wrap and send parcels and letters in the post office, build an igloo, make a snowman or act out the nativity with our small world #eyfs #christmas

Nursery are looking forward to Outdoor day today - lots of exploring talking about Harvest and Autumn. Making vegetable kebabs for the chickens, using our gross and fine motor skills to hammer tees into the vegetables counting painting and much more #eyfs #outdoorlearning

Big thank you to @asda for supporting schools! If anyone shops at ASDA- you can choose to support our wonderful school. It doesn't affect your own cash rewards. These are on top! #cashpotforschools #asda #primaryschools

Nursery were learning about the election - we watched 'Hey Duggee - the election badge' then each child had a counter to make a vote at our polling station for the story they wanted to hear - "the singing mermaid" was the winner #earlyyears #Elections2024

[Reception & Nursery Earley St Peter's CE Primary @StPetersEYFS]

The tiger party was a roaring success! The children loved making their own sandwiches, creating tiger hats and watching the animated version of the Tiger who came to tea. We finished with some party games. #eyfs #thetigerwhocametotea #teaparty #reception

We have been thinking about our world and the different environments. We have looked at deserts (cold and hot), the rainforest and mountain ranges. These were watercolours the children did of their favorite ones. Can you believe they are 4/5 years old? #art #eyfs #youngpainters

Nursery are ready for their smoothie making day. The children will be bringing in their favorite fruits to turn into delicious smoothies. 😋😋 #smoothie #eyfs #healthyliving

This week in nursery, we are thinking about healthy eating.  We have been sketching and painting fruit, weighing out fruit and vegetables, and balancing fruit and vegetables on our heads like in Handa's surprise. We have also been planting vegetables!

[Reception & Nursery Earley St Peter's CE Primary @StPetersEYFS]

The children told me to close my eyes not to look that way. When they had finished they invited me to see their bear city! This is why we value explore time so much at Earley St Peter's. It gives the children time to be creative and push their own learning. #EYFS

Reception are loving our new topic: fruit and vegetables. Today we measured carrots, tasted herbs and played with herb infused playdough. We are looking forward to cooking Pizzas later in the week! #fruitandvegetables #reception #eyfs

The children have loved learning about bugs. We enjoyed a sunny morning in the park hunting for them and found lots of wonderful creatures. #bugs #eyfs #reception #outdoorkids
