Today, Class 2 acted out the poetic medicines they wrote for George's Grandma (George's Marvellous Medicine by Roald Dahl). Great rhymes and actions!🥰🥰
The hungry children were fed, and everyone was straight on a bus down to the watersports centre. Groups One and Two were out on the water for kayaking, while Group Three practiced their knot-tying skills in raft building - and got to push each other in while they were at it. 🥶
With the sun finally shining down on us, Day Five was off to a high note - quite literally! We started off with a Snapshot challenge, then split up again for Groups Two and Three up to a zipwire while Group One were off to practice their aim. 😎
The hundreds of photos of your children will be made available to you at a later date - however, we cannot guarantee an upload featuring your child whilst we are on site, as internet connection is patchy at the best of times.
Thankyou - The Year Six Team.
A small update to some keen parents.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure each child is photographed and uploaded to the page, Year Six camp is a very busy time for everyone involved, and staff are doing their best.
And the tales of Day Three continue! After lunch, Groups One and Two ventured off-site to partake in raft building, while group Three stayed for their own sensory walk and some rock climbing 😺
Day Three already - Oh, the time flies! An early start up the hill for a photo challenge altogether, then back into groups for a sensory trail, giant swing and some problem solving.
Still Day Two - but this time it's the evening! After lunch, we ventured uphill for Jacob's ladder and a zip wire - lots of heights today 😳 After some well-needed food, we rounded out the evening with a game of Ambush 😋
