In history we created a human timeline to show where the period of Ancient Egypt. We found out that in Britain the end of the Stone Age would have been at the same period as the Ancient Egypt period.#teamstphilips
We have had an amazing time at forest school today. We played peg tag, Mrs Wright lost as she had lots of pegs attached to her coat. We made a seesaw out of a stick and marble runs. The children also enjoyed climbing trees.#teamstphilips
We had a wonderful time @octagontheatre watching Around the World in Eighty Days. It was a fun filled show and Year Three really enjoyed it. #teamstphilips
Yesterday we went on a local walk in Westbrook and found recreational and retail activities. There is also the tourist destination, Gulliver’s World in Westbrook too.

European Day of Languages. We have learned about Romania and played the Romanian sport oina. We have also tasted and learned about Romanian food. #teamstphilip
We have made cave paintings using textured paper to resemble the cave walls. The children have painted using earth tones and made bold outlines and patterns to add detail to the animals. #teamstphilips
Mr Roberts came to visit us and he taught us about the brass instruments we can learn to play. We all got a turn to play the instruments. #teamstphilips
In RE we did a freeze frame to show the most important parts from the story ��Moses’. The children thought Moses being saved as a baby was important. Some children thought when Moses split the sea in two was important too because he saved the slaves. #teamstphilips
In science we have conducted an experience to find out how roots grow for different plants and comparing the roots from the plants in different conditions. Each week we are measuring the changes to the roots over time. #teamstphilips
