We have become practical scientists! Today we participated in an electricity workshop where we learnt all about circuit components and how they work. We have also learnt how to make some components stronger and weaker! We love our Science learning! @StPhilipCEAP#teamstphilips

This week, the poet Ian Bland worked with Year Three children to create kenning poems. They worked in pairs and created some great poetry. In the afternoon, some children got to perform their kenning poems including actions. Well done! #teamstphilips
We visited the orchard today and investigated where moss grew. We found out that moss grows on the darker and damper side of the tree. We also found signs of a fox entry in the thistles. #teamstphilips
We have had an amazing day on our @Vibeukoutdoors. The children have been taught how to effectively use the bow and arrow in archery. We have made fire and toasted marshmallows to make sβmores. We also got extremely wet on the lake whilst canoeing. Such a fun day! #teamstphilips
