We believe learning goes further than the classroom; it’s a journey of discovery in which students find their independence and thrive. Now and in the future.
Throughout 2022, we're updating our brand. We want to better express who we are, what we do, so that we can reach more children, young people and their families, who need our support.

SENCo part 4
SENCOs are important because they help identify children who need that extra support to enable them to reach their full potential. SENCOs will Liaise with parents, teachers, and LAs about the child’s needs to make sure they receive the help and support they need.
What epilepsy research would have the greatest impact on the lives of the children and young people you work with?
Your opinion will make a difference. Please help researchers and funders prioritise what will be researched, by sharing your professional experience and opinion.
SENCO part 3
They help schools identify students who may need extra support and work with other professionals to identify strategies to help children progress. They may initiate an assessment that could lead to an EHCP that allows children to access higher levels of support.
SENCO part 2
If either you or the teacher has a concern about your child, the SENCO will go into the class to observe and advise on what the next steps should be in terms of whether support is needed, and what that might involve.
