Week 4 of our forest kindergarten sessions. We found Gruffalo footprints in the mud and explored the forest to look for clues. The children made dens and had lots of fun on the hammock and tree swing again.
The children have been busy outdoors creating beaded wind chimes for our โcalm colour monster areaโ and planting wildflower seeds in the beds. We found lots of bugs in the soil too! #TheColourMonster#greatgardeners

Last weeks play on pedals was all about balance and coordination as we played the shark and snake game. We also showed off our memory recall as we discussed how to be safe on the bikes by wearing a helmet and using the brakes when stopping.
Some of our children have been busy role playing helping build our new sand pit for our garden. They were very excited to be builders and make sure no screws were missing! ๐ทโโ๏ธ๐ทโโ๏ธ
This week outdoors we have been enjoying the lovely weather while learning all about taking care of plants and what they need to grow. We used our imagination as we used play dough to demonstrate what we need to plant seeds and create some wonderful paint pictures ๐บ๐ผ
