One year has elapsed since #Adidas CEO Bjorn Gulden publicly acknowledged that the nightly #kangaroo hunts in Australia are "terrible" and stated that @adidasfootball would stop fabricating shoes with kangaroo skin "sooner than you might think."

The @adidas Annual General Meeting takes place in Germany on May 15th. Will #BjornGulden use this public event as a platform to announce that the company will replace "k-leather" with #crueltyfree materials, like Nike, Puma and New Balance?

When the commercial hunters hired by #adidas kill kangaroos, they sometimes miss their heads and shoot them in the jaw instead. The victims flee with these mortal wounds and die slowly, in agony.

In May 2024, @adidas CEO Bjorn Gulden publicly acknowledged that the kangaroo hunt is "terrible," so why does @adidasfootball continue to make shoes with kangaroo skin, especially in light of the availability of many high-performance, #crueltyfree materials that can be used instead?
