Access as Control allows us to understand how different institutions we are exposed to i.e (networks, government, schooling) pose as a gatekeeper. If we cannot pass through these barriers, we then cannot access the resources for future opportunities. #dc2001b

An example of access as control can be seen from the school environment. Students are controlled via their grades. If a student's grade is not high enough to reach a certain standard, they are unable to access the next level of education.

P.E helps us understand the C.A. scandal because P.E. is all about harvesting data on citizens and using those data points in order to feed them tailored messages that could sway an outcome. C.A. and the Trump Campaign did this on FB users in order to aggravate voters. #DC2001B
