So let me get this straight: when Trump makes a joke, it's an existential threat to democracy. When activists wave around "8647," we're told everyone is overreacting and needs to understand nuance.

Amazing how quickly the rules change depending on whose side is talking.
Remember the mean tweets y’all threw hissy fits over … was considered political violence and democracy was hanging by a thread because Trump said something you people didn’t like.

Now we’re told not to be so sensitive and that everyone is misinterpreting slogans. Fascinating how that works.

@NPRinskeep I was the 3rd car back, waiting while 3 families w/ small kids on bikes crossed. 2of the dad's were blocking the lanes. 1st guy in line won't stop honking. After all were safely across, the dad blocking my lane walks up to the honker's window
